Crossroads Cares Community Outreach Ministry seeks to show the love of Christ to Manitowoc County.  One of the ways we do this by serving alongside organizations that are reaching the needs of the people in our community.  Please check back often for ways to serve in our community! If you have any questions you can reach out to our office at office@crossroadsmanitowoc.org

Salvation Army Manitowoc County

There are many different ways to get involved with The Salvation Army. We offer volunteers a chance to change people's lives across a wide range of activities and programs, all the while being changed themselves. All of our volunteer opportunities are coordinated locally, where our staff understands exactly how you can be of the most help for the most people.

Here are some examples of volunteer opportunities:

    • Seasonal setup
    • Weekly cleaning
    • Pantry help
    • Teen Center volunteers
    • Maintenance helper

To get started, please contact the main office at (920) 684-7117, or email Lisa.Stricklin@usc.salvationarmy.org

The Crossing of Manitowoc County

The Crossing of Manitowoc County is a non-profit, Christian-based organization with a mission to provide emotional, educational, material, and spiritual support to clients, empowering them to become strong and resilient families.

Their programs are designed to serve both women and men facing pregnancy in the variety of situations presented in our community: teens and twenty-somethings, men and women, married and unmarried, first baby or fifth baby.

They offer a growing variety of services to meet their changing client needs, including a medical clinic that provides free limited obstetrical ultrasound examinations. All of their services are free, confidential and non-judgmental. Their goal is to help clients make an informed decision by helping them to understand what they are feeling and what their options are.

If you're interested in being involved, the greatest need they have is the role of client advocate. To learn more about that, click on the job description below:
